During Passover, Jews remember the story of when the Israslittes were slaves in Eygpt. This celebration of Passover lasts for seven days. Â Â Days 1 and 7 are full rest days. Other days are intermediate holidays. However, Jewish people celebrate it for eight days. The first and last two days are days of full rest.
Pretend you were alive at this time in history. You can be anyone you wish: an Israelite, an Egyptian or even the Pharoah himself.

Last week, both Year 5 and 6 went on a visit to Muswell Hill Synagogue. It was linked to our studies in class based around Judaism Week. We all learned such a lot from Rabbi Anthony.
